The new Helix for 2020 now has the Helix name engraved on the ferrule. We now have two new Haas milling machines up and running full time and a new lathe where we also make our own ferrules. The Helix is available in 100-150-175-200-225 grains in right bevel. sizes 125-200 grains in left or right bevel. All sizes are come in 3 packs only. The 175-200 and 225 now have a stainless steel ferrule. Like no other two-blade, the single-bevel Helix design actually forces the arrow to rotate in flight – which means greater accuracy. The rotation continues on impact, resulting in large diameter wound channels. The multiple cutting edges of the Helix means maximum damage. Comes hunting ready sharp. We sharpen the Helix from the back to the point. The objective is to leave a slight burr on the edge to initiate quicker blood loss and to help the wound channel stay open for a more complete bleed out.. For resharpening you can use any flat sharpening device, taking metal from the side opposite the bevel. It is very important to keep the integrity of the bevel. That's why you do not attempt to resharpen on the bevel side.
