Strickland's Archery "The Stick" is now a Modern longbow or recurve. Our New Longbow and Recurve are more stable, faster, quieter and just as accurate. All this is possible due to the design of the modern longbow and recurve limbs and the modern day materials now available.

The Stick Modern Longbow and Recurve features bamboo, glass and maple laminate limbs. We use the highest grade of maple available for bow limb laminates.

The machined aluminum riser features an integrated grip for a relaxed hand position and has an adjustment for tiller and weight. The riser is available in a Lost camo pattern or black. The riser is 15" long and features an integral grip design that sets comfortably in your hand to allow for the relaxation of the wrist to promote line through the bow arm and continuing for easy transfer from the arm muscles through the back muscles. The riser is drilled to accommodate a raised arrow rest and a standard quiver plate. It can also accommodate a specialty mount for a detachable style quiver.



The Stick Modern Longbows and Recurves come with a two color Flemish Twist bowstring, a Traditional Instructional DVD and a soft takedown bow case. Designed to be quick, quiet and forgiving the new Stick Longbow and Recurve blends the best of Traditional archery with 21st Century technology.

Rests that are available from Strickland's Archery are a plunger spring rest that incorporates a spring designed to cradle the arrow on the end of a spring-loaded adjustable plunger. If shooting off the shelf is preferred we also have a raised shelf block. The detachable quiver we recommend is the Arrow Web from Mathews or Strickand's Archery web sight. A modified mount for the detachable quiver is also available.
