Just want to let you know the "STICK" is superior to the competition hands down. I have been in archery retail, wholesale and manufacturing for 38 years and it is the most forgiving and comfortable traditional bow I have ever shot. The limb design is smooth with no noticeable stack and it delivers great arrow speed. The short riser long limb combo gives it unbelievable stability and speed. The grip design makes it virtually impossible to not achieve the same hand position with every shot. I am sending a photo of my trophy Muley that I took this season with the "Stick". Thanks for a great product.

 "It was 1970, but it seems like yesterday. I had just returned from the war and was looking forward to hunting season. I had gun hunted since I was a kid, but for this huntingseason I was looking for a new challenge.
So, in the fall of 1970, I took to the field with a traditional bow in hand.
That decision is memorable for a couple of reasons. First, I tagged a mountain goat, two mule deer and an elk that fall (not bad!). Second, it was the decision that set me down the path of my life's work and one of my greatest passion... archery.
Since that time, I've hunted around the world with both traditional and modern gear. I've won a few tournaments along the way and I've had the good fortune to coach some of the best competitive shooters in the world.
Now, 40 years later, it seems I've come full circle as each fall my passion leads me to the field once again with a traditional bow in hand...but not just any bow. Now, I hunt with my first-ever line of traditional bows - The Stick™.

Folks have been designing and building bows/ limbs for numerous years. In the '60's and '70's, there were some truly revolutionary bows built. We didn't forget any of that history and tradition in designing The Stick™ Modern Longbow and Recurve.
